Allison Velez

As Chief People Officer, Allison oversees the development and execution of the organization’s people and talent strategy in support of the overall business plan. She is also responsible for leading the development of the company’s growing nationwide workforce. She spearheads all human resources functions including culture, talent management, strategic recruitment, organizational and performance management, HR technology and analytics, and growth.

Allison is recognized as a strategic and innovative Human Resources leader and has over twenty years of experience, ten of which include leading strategic initiatives within the healthcare industry. Before her arrival at Everside Health, Velez was Head of Human Capital at OptumCare, a division of UnitedHealth Group. Prior to that, Allison served as Chief People Officer at DaVita Medical Group.

Originally from Hawaii, Velez grew up in Southern California, where she earned a BS in Applied Management from Azusa Pacific University. She later earned an MA in Industrial/Organization Psychology from the University of Colorado.
