Donna Carter, NP

Donna completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Indiana University Southeast in 1997, then served as a registered nurse for several years in various hospital settings, including general med/surgical nursing, operating room, and the ICU. She went back to school and completed a master’s degree at Spalding University to become a family nurse practitioner in 2015. She worked in an urgent care setting before joining Everside Health in 2017. When not at the health center, Donna enjoys spending as much time as possible with her daughter, who is in middle school. They enjoy horseback riding, taking walks, visiting zoos, crafts, and shopping. Donna also has a goal of learning to sew and having all her picture albums up to date. Donna loves earning the trust of her patients and helping them improve and manage their health. She believes that making joint healthcare decisions is a win-win for everyone involved, and she hopes to be a blessing to everyone who visits the health center.
