Heather Calkins, FNP
Heather’s career in the medical field began as a medical assistant at a women’s health clinic and in radiology, followed by working as a registered nurse at a local ICU. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Goshen College, Indiana and her certification as a family nurse practitioner. She has worked both in local urgent care during a recent COVID-19 surge as well as an adjunct professor in the nursing department at a local college. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and is a hobbyist photographer. Heather looks forward to establishing genuine connections with her patients. She aims to provide comprehensive education and support, using a shared decision-making model of care that aims to set realistic, individualized goals for each patient.
