Gwendolyn Bowers, DO

Dr. Bowers earned her bachelor’s degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, master’s degrees from Barry University and George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health, and medical degree from Des Moines University. She began her career as a medical officer for the United States Navy followed by practicing as a locums physician before settling into outpatient primary care in Florida and South Carolina. Outside of health care, Dr. Bowers enjoys antique shopping, visiting historic sites, attending plays and concerts, and enjoying outings with family and friends. Dr. Bowers looks forward to ensuring that her patient population has optimal medical care for their acute and chronic illnesses and meets the standard measures for disease prevention and management.
