Everside Health, which was created from the merger of Paladina Health, Activate Healthcare and Healthstat, has named Courtney Harwood as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Harwood will build the Everside brand, drive growth and lead strategy and communications. She will also have responsibility for implementing and overseeing marketing programs designed to improve the overall client experience and educate the market on the numerous cost and health benefits of Everside’s innovative direct primary care (DPC) model.

Harwood brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in marketing, branding, and business development with a special focus on digital engagement. Prior to joining Everside, Harwood led the marketing and customer service teams for CLEAR, the digital identity biometric company most recognized at airports nationwide. She also served as the global Chief Marketing Officer for Xerox. Her achievements in online marketing include her successful launch of the Keep Shopping app and her sales and marketing initiatives for online grocer FreshDirect.

“We are excited that Courtney has joined our leadership team,” said Chris Miller, CEO of Everside. “Her extensive experience in both B2C and B2B marketing is invaluable as we work toward enhancing patient engagement and developing long-term relationships with the employers, unions and other plan sponsors we serve. As Everside continues to invest in the latest technologies to help us better manage chronic health problems and make it easier for patients to access the solutions and care they need, we will benefit tremendously from Courtney’s rich experience in digital platforms.”

Harwood earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Middlebury College and an MBA from Stern, New York University.

“This is an extraordinary time to work in healthcare,” said Harwood. “And the strides that Everside has made in transforming healthcare delivery is no less than remarkable. I am thrilled to be part of this dynamic team that is making a real difference in the way that people access and receive care today.”

Everside Heath currently operates in 32 states with 350 clinics located at or near the facilities of its employer, union and other benefit sponsor clients. It is the second largest direct primary care provider in the U.S.
