Rodger is an Accellent employee who first visited the company’s Brooklyn Park, MN, onsite clinic for a comprehensive health review in March of 2009. Through health coaching, he was able to quit smoking in after years of smoking a pack a day. Rodger visited the clinic again shortly after with questions about symptoms he was having, and was diagnosed with type II diabetes. Through the Disease Management program, he was able to bring his hemoglobin A1C from its initial value of 11.4 down to an impressive 5.7.
