Nancy Plemmons, MSN, FNP-C is originally from Niagara Falls, NY. She received her BSN from Niagara University and her MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from UNC Chapel Hill. Nancy has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 34 years. Her interests include wellness, tobacco cessation and stress management. She has assisted over 200 patients with tobacco cessation and enjoys inspiring patients to take accountability for their own health. Her passion is to practice relationship-based medicine focused on trust, education and mutual respect.
Her leadership positions include Medical Nurse Supervisor at UNC Hospital, Assistant Director of After Hours Program at UNC Student Health, Director of Clinical Development at Healthstat, Inc. and Assistant Director of Healthstat’s Medical Advisory Board.
Nancy also enjoys time with family, riding horses, travel, and raising border collies. She and her husband are co-owners of Escape On Purpose, a charity-based escape room in Durham, NC.
